PTI                      </p>                                                           <p>New Delhi: The ninth spherical of talks between protesting farmer unions and three central ministers obtained underway right here on Friday afternoon to interrupt the over-a-month-long impasse on the three new agricultural legal guidelines.</p> <p>Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Railways, Commerce and Food Minister Piyush Goyal and Minister of State for Commerce Som Parkash, who's an MP from Punjab, are holding the talks with the representatives of round 40 farmer unions on the Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi.</p> <p>Thousands of farmers, primarily from Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh, are protesting at numerous border factors of Delhi for over a month now towards the three legal guidelines.</p> <p>On Thursday, Tomar had stated that the federal government's ninth spherical of negotiations with protesting farmer unions would happen as scheduled and the Centre was hopeful of optimistic discussions. "The government is ready to hold talks with farmer leaders with an open mind," Tomar had instructed reporters.</p> <p>The Supreme Court on 11 January had stayed the implementation of the three legal guidelines until additional orders and appointed a four-member panel to resolve the deadlock.</p> <p>Bhartiya Kisan Union president Bhupinder Singh Mann on Thursday recused himself from the committee appointed by the apex court docket.</p> <p>Shetkari Sanghatana (Maharashtra) president Anil Ghanwat, International Food Policy Research Institute's Pramod Kumar Joshi and agriculture economist Ashok Gulati are the opposite three members on the panel.</p> <p>On 8 January, the eighth spherical of assembly remained inconclusive because the Centre dominated out repealing the three contentious legal guidelines claiming nationwide help for the reforms.
